LAND/ART June-November 2009 A Collaborative Exploration of Land-Based Art in New Mexico LAND/ART is an ambitious series of exhibitions, projects and events organized by 516 ARTS, The Albuquerque Museum, Contemporary Art Society, THE LAND/an art site, and the University of New Mexico Art Museum, and involving some twenty other venues and organizations and more than sixty artists. THE LAND/an art site's contributions will include projects and exhibitions at both the outdoor art site and THE LAND/gallery, as well as a speaker series, artists' talks, performances and other events.
